Cambridgeshire Freemasons have pledged to donate nearly £9,000 over the next three years to PosAbility.
The Cambridgeshire-based charity offers chair-based exercise and one-to-one support to people living with long-term neurological conditions including, but not limited to, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy.
The Freemasons found themselves pitched next door to the charity at the recent pumpkin fayre in Soham, a charity that Freemasons have supported for several years.
Ely Lodges together with the Masonic Charitable Foundation, which is funded by Freemasons, their families and friends, from across England and Wales, pledged to donate the money together.
Sarah Bellow, from PosAbility, said: “We are grateful for the financial support Cambridgeshire Freemasons have provided.
“It has allowed us to provide specialist transport to venues allowing clients to spend much needed time with like-minded company”.
