The cause of a fire in Ely on Monday afternoon (October 9) has been confirmed.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters arrived to find a shed on fire.
“The crew extinguished the fire using a hose reel before returning to their station by 5pm.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.”
