In the second part of our Data-Driven series of stories, we compare the Ofsted results for primary schools in East Cambridgeshire. You can also use our interactive map to check and compare the schools' Ofsted ratings.

Out of the 28 primary schools to have been inspected by Ofsted across East Cambridgeshire, 86 per cent (24) achieved one of the top two gradings of ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in their latest inspection reports.

The impressive speight of highly rated schools across the district is reflected in recent data published by Ofsted in November 2022, which highlights that 88 per cent of schools across the country are now rated as ' Good' or 'Outstanding' compared to 68 per cent in 2010.

Take a look at our interactive map to see where the top-rated schools are in the district.

When Ofsted examines a school, they are judged closely on their quality of teaching, learning and assessment, effective leadership and management, early years provision, personal development and behaviour and welfare and outcomes for pupils.
