A man had to be treated for burns after a house fire in Soham yesterday morning.
Crews from Ely and Burwell were called to the blaze on Bushel Lane at 7.28am on Sunday July 30.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
A male casualty was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and burns, and left in the care of ambulance crews.
Crews returned to their stations by 9.25am.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
