Ely Arts Festival 2023 reached more than 6,000 people across a very successful two weeks of events.
Highlights included the big community space concert at Ely Cathedral featuring over 400 performers (including over 300 local schoolchildren) singing a real mix of music.
Other highlights included a performance of Robin Hood by professional theatre company 'The Three Inch Fools' in the Bishop's Garden, a ceramics workshop at Drayman's Son and concerts at Sessions House.
The festival family day 'Jubilee Jamboree' featured lots of music, free art workshops, storytelling and a silent disco.
The festival finale was in collaboration with Ely Markets, Foodie Friday and included a brilliant performance from 'Big Smoke Brass' to conclude the festival.
The community mural that appeared throughout the festival can now be seen on display on the railings at Sessions House.
Chris Parsons, artistic director of the festival, said: "We're delighted with how the festival went this year, we're reaching a bigger audience, year on year and importantly reaching lots of the community across Ely and the surrounding area.
"We want to make the arts accessible and fun for everyone to get involved in and bring high quality performances to the area too.

The festival will be back in 2024, running from Saturday 15 to Saturday 29 June, with lots of exciting events already planned.
