We are receiving reports this afternoon (Tuesday, July 25) of a large fire blaze in a field in Cottenham. 

Members of the community have taken to social media to express their concern after noticing a large amount of smoke coming from the distance. 

Many are saying the fire seems to be coming from Broad Lane in the village. 

They have also reported seeing several fire engines as well as an incident control van and an unmarked car make their way towards the fire. 

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted and we will bring you more information when we have it.
