The site manager at Linden Homes’ Willow Woods development in Ely has won a prestigious award for his high standards.
Mike Rose has received a Pride in the Job Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC) in recognition of his work at the development.
Mike, 45, who has been a site manager for almost 10 years, said he was thrilled to receive a Pride in the Job award.
He said: “Winning this award means so much. It is not just an award to me, but also for my team at Willow Woods.
“The hard work they have put in is one of the reasons I have received this award.”
Mike, who lives in Norwich, started his career in the construction industry as a trainee assistant site manager in 2006, and was promoted to his first role as site manager in 2013.
He was among 444 site managers out of more than 8,000 candidates across the country to win a Quality Award this year.
Along with the other winners, he will now go on to be judged for the NHBC’s seal of excellence and regional awards.
