A cannabis dealer has been jailed for more than a year.
Jonathon Caswell caught the eye of officers back in December 2019 while driving around Cambridge in a red Volkswagen car.
Officers discovered the vehicle had no insurance and pulled Caswell over in Barnwell Road.
Inside the car they found cannabis, amphetamine and MDMA as well as cash, a mobile phone, deal bags and a set of scales.
Detectives found messages he had sent offering drugs for sale as well as messages from customers wanting to buy.
At Huntingdon Crown Court on Thursday (May 18) the 47-year-old of Ditton Fields, Cambridge, was sentenced to one year and three months in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of class B drugs.
Detective Constable Rachel Brown, who investigated, said: “Illegal drugs have no place in our society and we will continue to target anyone involved in drug supply.”
