A missing rescue cat who hadn't returned home for nearly a month has been found more than 10 miles away from his home.

Three-year-old feline Ronald, who is ginger and white and has distinctive features of a white belly and feet, was last seen in the CB7 5DJ area on April 25.

The family offered a £200 reward to anyone who found him.

Yesterday, his owner Conner Rogerson received the news he had been waiting for.

"Ron was found by a couple in Barkham's Lane in Littleport," he said.

"They saw him on their cameras eating the hedgehog food."

Ron is chipped and neutered and Conner said he doesn't normally stray too far away from home.

“I put posters up all over the town and posted notes through doors asking for people to check their sheds and garages,” he said.

“I contacted all vets within a 30-mile radius and all of the cat protection agencies within my area.”

Ronald is just three years old and the family rescued him when he was just a kitten from eight weeks old.

"We are just over the moon that he's back," said Conner.
