An inquest has opened into the death of a motorcyclist who was involved in a collision in Soham earlier this month.

Joshua Bendall, 40, was riding his Kawasaki on the A142 at about 9pm on April 6 when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle.

At the opening of his inquest at Peterborough City Hall, senior coroner David Heming returned a provisional cause of death of multiple injuries.

The inquest has been suspended because of an ongoing police investigation.
