Rail passengers are being warned not to travel today (Tuesday) due to rail strikes taking place.
Services will be reduced or disrupted because of the strike action due to a dispute over areas such as pay and working conditions.
Greater Anglia
The rail operator advises passengers to avoid travelling on December 13, 14, 16 and 17 as services will be severely reduced and disrupted.
This includes trains between Peterborough and Ipswich.
First services will start later on the day after strike action.

Great Northern
Trains from London are due to finish earlier than normal today, as well as on December 14 and 16.
Passengers who must travel are being encouraged to travel earlier if needed.

Strike action by the RMT rail workers’ union will take place today, December 14, 16 and 17 and passengers are encouraged to travel only if absolutely necessary.

Delays of around one mile heading eastbound at Junction 21 due to an earlier broken down vehicle.

Slow moving traffic near Peterborough, Wisbech and Thorney.
A142 - Fordham Road
Delays heading southbound between Fordham Abbey and Junction 27 on the A14 at Newmarket; no incidents have been reported.
A10 - Stretham to Waterbeach
Slow-moving traffic of around five-and-a-half miles; no incidents have been reported.
B1187 Gull Road - Guyhirn
The road is closed from near the A47 junction and Gull Bank due to roadworks by Cambridgeshire County Council.
B1382 Mile End Road - Prickwillow
Closed to motorists up to the junction with A1101 Mildenhall Road because of roadworks by Cambridgeshire County Council.
Holmes Lane - Soham
Closed both ways to all traffic until December 14 due to work by Anglian Water.
Stirtloe Lane - Buckden
Closed both ways to all traffic until December 14 due to works by Anglian Water.
Victory Avenue - Whittlesey
Closed both ways to all motor vehicles until December 14 between 8am and 6pm due to works by Cadent Gas.
A1101 North End – Wisbech
The road is closed until December 15 due to emergency works by Anglian Water.
Low Road – Fenstanton
The road is closed both ways to all motor vehicles until December 16 due to works by Cadent Gas.
Hill Rise - St Ives
Closed both ways to all motor vehicles until December 17 between 7pm and 6am nightly for carriageway works.
Crescent Road – Whittlesey
The road is closed to all motor vehicles on weekdays between 8am and 6pm until December 23 due to works by Cadent Gas.
Victoria Street - Littleport
Closed both ways to all motor vehicles until December 23 due to works by Cadent Gas.
