Viva arts and community group have made 200 tickets to their Cinderella pantomime free for families struggling to make ends meet this Christmas.

The group have worked with local businesses, organisations and businesspeople to generate money to cover these tickets to Cinderella at the theatre in Soham.

Sanctuary Housing, Ralph Mortlock, Grovemere Property, J Murphy and Sons, Michell Instruments and the Ely Fireworks Display Committee are just some of who’ve made this possible.

Dan Schumann, director of Viva, said: “Cinderella is Viva’s first pantomime in our new theatre.

"We are hugely grateful to Sanctuary Housing, Ralph Mortlock, Grovemere Property, J Murphy and Sons, Michell Instruments and the Ely Fireworks Display Committee for making this initiative possible.”

Tickets are available to any individual, family, group of people or organisation struggling this Christmas.

Viva has also worked with the Staploe Education Trust to find schoolchildren in Soham and their families who could benefit from tickets.
