PUPILS at the City of Ely Community College got the opportunity to put their teachers in the stocks at a charity fun day last week.
A number of pupils and staff from the college are planning to head out to Zambia in October this year to help take part in the Habitat for Humanity project and need to raise 7000 to fund the trip.
And to get their fundraising started the seven pupils organised a fun day that saw students get the chance to enjoy bouncy castles, climbing walls, stalls and the predictably popular stocks.
Head of the sixth form Mark Sirot-Smith, said: "The pupils worked very hard to organise the fun day whilst still preparing for their exams so it was nice to see that the day was well supported and raised 990 towards the total.
