ROAD safety was top of the agenda for pupils at the Robert Arkenstall Primary School in Haddenham this week.
As a part of the nationwide 'Look Ahead' campaign pupils from the school were tasked with designing and drawing a poster highlighting the importance of bicycle safety and particularly wearing a crash helmet when out riding.
The competition, which was run by the Ely based charity the Brain Injury Trust, was won by a pupil in Year 6 whose poster will now go forward to the national competition, where it could be selected as the charities new campaign poster.
Headteacher Dominic Sharp, said: "We won the national competition two years ago I believe so we will be looking forward to our entry doing well again this time around.
