MAGISTRATES found Leon Franklin guilty of assaulting a police officer and failing to provide a breath specimen, although he failed to attend his trial at Ely courthouse on Thursday.
Franklin, 21, assaulted the officer on November 14, and failed to co-operate with breath testing in the early hours of the following morning.
The court adjourned sentencing for two weeks.
