TEDDIES were helping to raise money for children caught up in the Haiti earthquake disaster, thanks to an initiative by the Weatheralls School Council.
The Soham youngsters decided they wanted to help out and it was their idea to pay 50p to bring a teddy to school last Friday. All 463 pupils and staff took part, raising a substantial amount for the appeal.
