The Magpas Helimedix team landed in a field next to the A1123 at about 8.30am after reports that a car had skidded off the road and ended on its roof in a ditch.
A spokesman said: “The Magpas team assessed a woman in her 30s who suffered back and neck pain. They then put measures into place to protect her neck and spine, whilst working alongside an ambulance crew.
“The patient was kept warm with a specialised heating blanket, as the team worked with a Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Crew to remove her safely from the vehicle. She was the taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital in an ambulance.”
Magpas Dr Alistair Steel said, “We wish the woman well, it looks like she has not sustained any serious injuries.
