SOHAM fund-raising group, These Feet Are Made for Dancing, raised £653 for Sensory Saturdays at a disco held at The Brook earlier this month.
Sensory Saturdays is a free group for children with additional needs, run by Soham Children’s Centre and volunteers.
Children and their families come to the group to meet others and to enjoy sensory toys and equipment, crafts and space to run around. The donation will be used for special activities, including horse riding and swimming.
Susan Fuller, Donna Hobbs and Tabitha Isaacson hold two fund-raiser events each year, with all donations going to charities that serve the people of Soham. For more information about Sensory Saturdays, contact Soham Children’s Centre on 01353 727188, www.cambridgeshirechildrenscentres.gov.uk
