ELY’S Etheldreda Fair helped raise thousands of pounds for the Ely Cathedral Choir Tour Fund.
Held on Palace Green on Saturday, the event saw more than 40 stalls offering everything from games and crafts to flowers and raffles to the hundreds of visitors who attended.
As ever, there were plenty of strawberries and champagne on offer throughout the day.
Organisers hope that this year’s event will have raised in excess of £3,000 for the fund. The choir has toured churches and cathedrals around the world since it’s first overseas trip in 1990, and performs an important ambassadorial role for the Diocese of Ely.
