Stretham Primary School said a fond farewell to receptionist Tina Fell who retired today after 28 years manning the phones.
The school had a ‘Mrs Fell’ day to mark the occasion where everyone dressed in pink, Mrs Fell’s favourite colour – and many even came dressed as the lady herself.
During the morning, pupils took part in a range of Mrs Fell-inspired fun and games. At the end of the day, head teacher Andrew Robertson hosted an assembly to say goodbye.
Pupils past and present joined staff to present the retiring receptionist with plenty of cards and presents and they sung a song composed for the day.
