An appeal has been launched by Cambridgeshire police to find a man who tried to steal a cycle from a woman in Soham.
Police say the attempted theft happened at around 7pm on May 2 as the woman was cycling in the town.
“A male attempted to steal a cycle from a lone female cycling along a footpath between Julius Martin Lane, and the rear of Heron Croft in Soham,” said a police spokesman.
The suspect is described as being a white male, aged 20-25 years, medium build and wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, and black jogging bottoms.
The suspect ran off in the direction of Julius Martin Lane.
