Ely is well and truly lit up for Christmas.
Large crowds piled into the city on Friday for the traditional switch on which saw a packed programme of entertainment throughout the afternoon and well into the evening.
From fair rides to pop, from Santa’s arrival to Scottish boy band 4th State, from dancing to Cinderella on stage, the switch on had everything.
It also had mild weather, which boosted the numbers attending and kept mums, dads and, especially, the youngsters happy.
We have a full report in this week’s Ely Standard – for now though enjoy our picture gallery from the night from Clinton Edwards.
