Two people were taken to hospital following a collision involving four vehicles in Fordham, last night (Thursday).
The East of England Ambulance Service and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at about 6.45pm to reports a smash involving three cars and a lorry in Isleham Road.
One of the cars had overturned and a passenger was trapped.
Firefighters from Newmarket and Soham attended and cut the passenger free using hydraulic cutting equipment.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said that a rapid response paramedic and two ambulances attended the scene. A woman in her 20s was treated for back and chest pains but her injuries were not serious.
Two people were taken to hospital for further treatment.
