A 72-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the murder of missing Ely landlady Deborah Steel has been re-bailed.
The man, from Ely, was arrested last year after Cambridgeshire police’s major crime investigation unit decided to review the case.
The man answered bail last week and was subsequently re-bailed by officers until April 29 while investigations continue.
Ms Steel, 37, was the landlady of the Royal Standard pub in Fore Hill, Ely when she disappeared on December 28, 1997.
Her body has not been found, despite repeated appeals from police and from her family.
Anyone with any information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
