Firefighters were called to tackle a chimney fire in Wicken on Thursday night.
Two crews from Soham arrived at a house in Pond Green shortly before 9pm following reports that a fire had broken out inside a chimney.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A fire had broken out in a chimney and crews used working at height equipment, hose reels and chimney rodding to extinguish it.
“Firefighters also removed roof tiles to gain access to the roof space to check for fire spread. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.”
An investigation ruled that the cause of the fire was accidental.
