An Ely woman has been appointed a director of the Cambridge Building Society.
Victoria Stubbs is the society’s chief risk officer and the Cambridge says the appointment “underpins our determination to evolve to meet customers’ needs.”
The society says the appointment “demonstrates our commitment to protecting our customers. It’s seen as a key part of plans to continue to change and develop to meet both existing and future customer needs.”
Victoria joined as head of risk in May 2014.
Chief executive Stephen Mitcham said: “Victoria will enhance the board’s understanding of how we can find opportunities to grow and develop the business whilst remaining within our prudent risk appetite and ensuring we put our customers’ at the heart of what we do.”
Victoria, a Cambridge graduate, said: “I feel very excited about being appointed a director of The Cambridge. The board is looking to grow and develop the society for the future and this is a great opportunity to be part of that journey.”
