A Pymoor woman is lacing up her running boots for the first time and joining thousands of other runners in the 2016 London Marathon in April next year.
Charlotte Page, 21, is preparing for the 26.2 mile race after her ballot entry was successful and the former student will be running to raise money for the charity Dogs for the Disabled.
Dogs for the Disabled creates partnerships between people and dogs and provides assistance and guide dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities and families affected by autism alongside running workshops and innovative new projects working in schools and residential care settings.
Ms Page, who is set to graduate from Anglia Ruskin University with a first class degree in Business Management, has set up a Just Giving page and anyone wishing to donate can do so at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/CharlottePageLondonMarathon2016.
