Sheila Jeffery is a nurse for Marie Curie organisation, and she recently attended Rotary Club of Ely’s lunchtime meeting to receive a cheque for £340 as a donation to the remarkable work they do.
Her short speech explained the daffodil appeal to Members, and told of their appreciation of the public’s support for it.
Several of the Rotary Members had been out collecting on the “daffodil weekend” and this was the result of their work.
