Students from Witchford Village College have tried their hand at film making in an attempt to urge smokers to stub out their cigarettes this January.
The students shot a video - which shows them chasing a giant cigarette and squirting it with water pistols - as part of the countywide Kick Ash campaign, which works with younger children to teach them about the dangers of smoking.
Student Ed Ouzman, who helped make the video, said: “We hope by making this short video we will encourage people who currently smoke to try and quit this January. We are all proud to be smoke free and hope this video encourages other people to become smoke free too.”
Brigitte McCormackl of CAMQUIT, said: “The mentors have worked really hard organising the filming and producing this video. It’s great to have such passionate and committed students who are prepared to volunteer their time to create pieces of work like this. Without them Kick Ash wouldn’t be the success that it is.”
