TWENTY-two members enjoyed a pleasant afternoon on April 5 watching films from many countries.
Our chairman Derek Ellwood introduced us to Mr and Mrs Hitch who brought their audio technical equipment.
We saw a film from Holland, showing off the many varieties of tulips, Scotland with the beautiful hills and lakes, the Harry Potter train and Norway showing many different trolls and fjords.
We saw Ely's flower festival in 1997 at Ely Cathedral, with beautiful flowers and arrangements. Then to Italy, Venice, Juliet's balcony, The Vatican and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Tea and biscuits were served by Margaret Barber, Terry Copper, Doris Kerridge and Jean East.
The usual raffle took place and the meeting closed with the club hymn.
