A WILLOW tunnel and bower were constructed to give extra shade and an additional play space during the summer months at Little Thetford Primary School. All 107 children at the school were given a job to do at some point during the day. Many planted their own piece of willow and others helped with digging and mulching. The children enjoyed getting involved and learned a great deal about willow from Nick Williams, from the Living Willow Company, who led the team. The project has been funded by FOLTS (Friends of Little Thetford School).
