MEMBERS of the club met in the Walter Gidney Pavilion on April 28. Mrs Gibbon gave out the announcements, which included the Dottie Wayne Music Hall on May 5. Tickets are available and can be purchased at the door. Light refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle. Vera Seal welcomed local artist Edward Chivers who had on display a wide selection of his work in oil paintings, water-colours, paintings in wax, portraits, landscapes and still life. His latest venture is digital photography and a selection of these photos were on display. His painting of Ely Cathedral can now be seen on postcards, notebook covers, coasters, placemats and tea towels.
Mrs Seal organised the raffle. The meeting closed with the singing of the club hymn.
