ON a wet Sunday afternoon, 36 bowlers played for the Isaacson Cup. Six teams of triples played a total of 24 ends, after 12 ends, a break was taken for tea. The weather improved and the remaining 12 ends were played. The raffle took place followed by the winners of the two groups playing a final six ends. The winners were: Jackie Isaacson, Ron Taylor, Brian Monahan and runners-up Sue Isaacson, Carol Galley and Chris Palmer. Before the presentation of the trophy, chairman Peter Taylor thanked Ann Gibbs for organising the games, the ladies who prepared the tea and everyone for taking part. Paul Isaacson thanked the Soham Bowls Club for continuing with the Isaacson tradition. The trophy and prizes were then presented by the Isaacson' grandchildren.
