More than 30 families attended the launch of an exhibition of children's artwork at the Waitrose store in Ely on Saturday.
Year one pupils from the city's Spring Meadow Infant School have contributed paintings on the theme of "springtime", which will be on display in the lobby of the Cloisters store until Friday, March 24.
The exhibition has been put together by the Vital Communities Project, which is a programme of creative activities for children across the county, and is supported by the Babylon Gallery in Ely and Adec - Arts Development in East Cambridgeshire.
Project manager Susan Potter said the launch was a great success.
Vital Communities also aims to measure the impact of creative work on individuals and communities.
