Littleport's Women's World Day of Prayer service was held at the Salvation Army Hall in City Road. More than 50 people attended, and groups from each church participated. Major Alison Burns spoke movingly of reconciliation in South Africa. Offerings totalled more than £90.
On Sunday, The Salvation Army Self Denial Appeal for work in developing countries was concluded with altar services, which raised almost £500 from members and friends.
On Saturday, between 10am and 11.30, there will be a Coffee Morning and Nearly-New Sale at the City Road Hall.
