SUNDAY'S service opened with a time of prayer regarding the worsening situation in Israel. After a time of worship, Tim Frost spoke about the power of words. The pastor was preaching at the cathedral.
Earlier in the weekend there was a training course for the Ely Healing Rooms, which are to open in September, with the involvement of Christians from several of Ely's churches.
Sunday service: 10.30 a.m. (including Holy Communion). The pastor will be helping us to prepare for the impact of a week-long event many of us are soon to attend as part of the Barnabas Fellowship of Churches. As a result, there will not be a service at the Olive Tree on July 30. Crèche and Sunday School will be provided. All are welcome.
