On Monday, 32 walkers, plus the two leaders enjoyed a three-mile walk in glorious sunshine. Led by Liz Gwinnett, with Laurie Budd at the back, the walk this week started from the church and proceeded down Fountain Lane to West Drive, through West Drive gardens and along Mereside, through the new housing estate to the Shade, Townsend, Foxwood, Bushel Lane, through Queensway, Stinky Ditch, Eastern Avenue, along Brook Dam, through Frank Bridges Close to Sand Street, Clay Street and finally Saucy Meg's for welcome refreshments.
