THE trial of a lorry driver accused of jumping a red traffic signal at the Ely railway crossing had to be adjourned this week, because his barrister wants to see paperwork confirming that the crossing is lawful.
Anthony Barrett, 52, of Lupin Way+, Needham Market, has denied that he failed to comply with a traffic light at the crossing on February 14 last year.
On Thursday the case was adjourned for four weeks, for a new trial date to be fixed.
