AN Ely Standard questionnaire is revealing deep dissatisfaction in the city's commuter population.
Our continuing survey of people who travel to work by train has already found that a high proportion of commuters cannot get seats during their journey, and many people think the services represent poor value for money.
The questionnaire follows a special Ely Standard feature on overcrowding on peak-time trains to Cambridge and London.
A number of people have commented that services run on time and are reliable, but crowded trains are making a misery of the daily commute.
Mrs A Baker of Little Downham said: "The expanding commuter population has not been matched by an expanded service and both morning and evening trains are full to capacity, sometimes leaving passengers on the platform."
