FILM-MAKER Emily Blickem, who has seen her work screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, held a local screening recently.
The former Ely Community College pupil, whose family live in the city's Columbine Road, teamed up with fellow members of the Cambridge Film Makers Network to screen their four films from the festival.
Emily, 29, directed a film called One Little Step and said: "We were thrilled to be so well represented at Cannes this year; but it's great to have the opportunity to bring the films to a wider audience at home in Cambridge too."
The screening took place at the Boxtree Bar and Brasserie in Cambridge.
