SOHAM and Ely's CCTV operators were commended this week.
The team, which monitors more than 130 cameras from for Cambridge City Council, was presented with a Divisional Commander's Commendation at a special ceremony at Parkside Police Station on Monday by divisional commander Chief Supt Rob Needle.
Chief Supt Needle said: "The contribution the city's numerous CCTV cameras make to community safety when under the control of well-managed and experienced operatives is inestimable."
CCTV manager Martin Beaumont said: "I am delighted for the team. It has been a very successful nine years and the figures speak for themselves.
