BREACHING his community order for a second time landed Ely teenager Mark Gillett with an extra 40 hours of unpaid community work this week.
Originally, Gillett was given an 18-month supervision order for offences of affray and possessing a weapon.
But back in February the order had 40-hours of unpaid work added, because Gillett had admitted missing an appointment.
On Thursday, 19-year-old Gillett admitted missing further appointments, on February 14, 18, and 21.
So Ely magistrates slapped another 40-hours of work on the order, and extended his supervision.
"He needs supervision, he requires the support of the probation service," explained solicitor Jacqui Baldwin. She said Gillett had stopped taking cannabis and had stopped drinking alcohol
Gillett told the magistrates: "I want to get my life sorted, get a job and get my life back on track.
