A SMOKER whose mother died of smoking-related lung cancer is to raise money by giving up cigarettes.
Charles Faulkner, from Ely, will donate to the Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund and the BBC's Children in Need appeal.
His progress will be monitored by Cambridgeshire NHS smoking cessation service, CAMQUIT, and he aims to completely quit smoking by December 7.
