COUNCIL officers have been out in East Cambridgeshire this week advising on how to save energy when the cold weather arrives.
Energy advice stalls have been set up across the district with information on how to keep warm and advice on which insulation grants are available.
The stalls were manned by officers from East Cambridgeshire District Council who were also handing out free energy efficient light bulbs.
A stall was set up at the Co-op in Main Street, Littleport, on Tuesday and at the Co-op in North Street, Burwell, yesterday (Wednesday).
Today (Thursday), officers will be at Ely Market Place and tomorrow (Friday) at the Co-op in High Street, Soham.
Katarina McCartney, East Cambridgeshire District Council's home energy conservation officer, said: "By improving the insulation in your home, you can save money on bills and stay warmer for longer.
"Our aim over the Energy Advice week has been to make sure we give residents throughout the district the knowledge and guidance to make this winter more bearable.
