DRINK driver Jerome Mapps was given a 16-month driving ban by Ely magistrates this week.
Mapps, 32, of Vulcan Way, Beck Row, committed the offence when driving a Mazda vehicle in Mildenhall Road at Littleport on April 7. The court heard that he provided a test reading of 132 mgs of alcohol in 100 mls of blood, when the legal limit is 80 mgs.
He was fined £400 with £60 costs and must pay a £15 victim surcharge.
