LITTLEPORT woman Caroline Newland is due to face trial later this month, after denying two charges of benefit fraud.
It is alleged that Newland, 42, of Jersey Way, dishonestly claimed income support between December 3 2005 and July 17 2006, by failing to disclose that she was living with Trevor Hale as husband and wife.
A second charge alleges that Newland dishonestly claimed housing and council tax benefit between December 5 2005 and June 5 2006, again by failing to notify her change of circumstance, namely that she was living with Mr Hale as his wife.
Her trial will be held at Ely courthouse on October 30.
