A FAREWELL leaving party was held at the King's School Haward theatre recital hall for Sheila Wade Smith who had been employed at the school for 46 years, many of which as a domestic supervisor.
The party was organised by house matrons Liz Firek, Michele Parr and Christine Whitmore.
MC for the party was Ivor Denniss who had in the past been a caretaker at the King's School Hereward Hall and the school house.
A large gathering of present and past employees came to say goodbye to Sheila and a bouquet of flowers was presented to her by Hazel Lupson, a former domestic who had worked with Sheila for many years. A farewell speech was made by Ivor, who also proposed a toast.
