SINGER-songwriter Susan Greydanus has triumphed in the BBC's national hymn-writing contest for 2007.
Mrs Greydanus, who attends the Olive Tree Fellowship Church in town, was one of four winners in the competition with her song Let Me See The Glory.
Local BBC radio stations teamed up with the Sunday Half Hour programme on BBC Radio 2 to uncover the country's best hymn-writing talent.
In recent years, Mrs Greydanus has come close to glory with two other songs, but this latest triumph will mark a great victory for the Ely-based hymn-writer.
