AN Ely man who denied a charge of drink-driving is to face trial next month.
Jose Perez, 35, of Newnham Street, is alleged to have given a breath test reading more than twice the legal alcohol limit.
He is accused of driving an Audi A4 when over the limit near the Barway junction on the A142 Soham to Ely road on February 25.
The trial is due to take place at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on April 28.
On Thursday, Ely magistrates extended his conditional bail, which bans him from driving.
