A TEACHER from Ely is to go on trial accused of child pornography offences.
Matthew Underwood, 37, of New Barns Avenue in Ely who teaches history and is an assistant principal at Impington Village College denied 15 counts of making indecent images and three counts of possessing indecent images earlier this year.
His trial is due to begin at Cambridge Crown Court on December 15.
It is alleged that police found more than 170 indecent images on Underwood's computer after technicians at the school raised concerns.
Education authority Cambridgeshire County Council said Underwood, was suspended after the allegations emerged.
